Jennifer - I am so excited to help you with this year's garden! In this plan, you'll find a layout for your plants, along with information on plant care and when to harvest. Happy Gardening! Abigail ---- Chores: Visiting / Positive Vibes (Daily), Watering (Daily as needed, let soil dry out in between each watering session), Pest Control (Daily as needed), Weeding (Weekly as needed), Mulching (Weekly as needed), Pruning (Weekly for tomatoes, squash), Trellising / Training (Weekly once plants exceed 12 inches tall), Feeding (Bi-weekly until the plant flowers), Harvesting (Daily as needed). Abigail’s Go-to Plant Food: (Mix 1 part bone meal, 1 part blood meal, and 2 parts Epsom salt. Apply 1 T. at the base of each plant) Alfalfa Pellets, Rabbit Manure, Compost, Worm Castings.

Potatoes (Maincrop) 91' 5"1' 1" x 2' 5"Dig a trench 10 - 12 inches deep. Plant with eye facing up. Once vines begin to sprout "hill" potatoes by adding soil to the trench. This causes the vine to sprout additional tubers. Each time the vines begin to spout keep adding soil. harvest after vines have flowered and died back.
Squash (Summer) 11' 11"1' 11" x 1' 11"Plant in a tomato cage to give this vine something to climb on. prune any stem behind the flowers.
Tomato (Large) 101' 7"1' 5" x 1' 11"Plant in a tomato cage for support. Once mature, prune stems from the bottom 12 inches of plant. Harvest when red or a couple days early to ripen indoors.
